This is my all day / every day boot, especially during the winter months here in the Wasatch. The Renegade gets more comfortable each time I lace them up, and the tighter the laces are, the more snug they become. Worn through river beds without a drop of wetness thanks to the Gore-Tex lining, and incredible durability for their weight. Grips like an all-traction tire with the Vibram sole, even in icy conditions, and there was zero break-in period; these boots were ready to climb Mt. Olympus right out of the box. Worth every penny for an everyday short-hiker or even as a lightweight work boot! Seriously, I wear them as slippers around the house sometimes they're so comfortable.

Best boot I have had. Durable and very comfortable for day hikes, light backpacking, and even every day wear.

Simply put,... Quality, Comfort, and Durability all in a light weight boot. I had my first pair 7 years with regular use, and I just purchased my second pair and look forward to many more years of hiking with my trusted Lowa's... Love'em!

Most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I just laid to rest my 18 year old pair after the sole delaminated and searching for a new pair to replace them.....

These Lowa are my daily shoes now. Good fit and never cold and wet feet again in our rainy country. For riding my motorcyle I even switsched to Lowa Combat boots.
I even got rid of some minor medical feet problems with these shoes because of the good fit and support. Well done !

My first pair of Renegades lasted seven years of moderate hiking (400 - 600 miles/year). They were so comfortable I ordered another pair. The soles delaminated on my second trip. I got a replacement pair in about six weeks. They are also very comfortable on long hiking trips. I have put about 1,600 miles on them in 23 months. However, the toe cover is delaminating. I am going to change boots.

Very comfortable boot; however, after a year of use the sole has worn through. The sole is very soft, which has been grippy, but wears too fast. The boot would be better off with a harder compound rubber, as the rest of the boot is still in great condition. Looks like I'll be messing with some sort of adhesive/magic shoe repair in a tube to try to keep these things going.

I've been wearing these for a month straight and my feet haven't hurt once. Trekking through Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana, across streams, over mountains and up sand dunes my feet stayed comfortable, dry, and only a little bit sandy when I ate s*!t on the dunes. The GoreTex works great and the boots moulded to my feet almost immediately. I usually wear a 10W and the men's 8.5 fit me perfectly. I probably would have turned my ankle about a million times if I hand't had these on, and now that I'm back to regular shoes I kinda miss them!

The only bad thing I have to say it´s that it would be even better if no animal leather materials were used (Nubuk), today there are a lot of alternatives that look and preform as good as the really thing.
Very stable boots.

I was very excited about buying this boot, Loved the way it felt on my foot right out of the store and still feels today. I wear this boot for hiking/backpacking and a everyday boot, it has great traction. but within 4 months after leaving the store the Monowrap began to separate a little from the boot, and after 6 months the soles are separating from the bottom of the shoe. The boot still manages to maintain a comfortable feel (for now) which is why it got 2 stars but cosmetically does not look. I was disappointment to find it did not hold up to the hype that sold me.
