Tough, breathable and lightweight. This high performance boot is used by the British M.O.D. under the harshest conditions.
"Created originally for the British Army, the Elite Desert Boot is all-season, all-terrain combining the light weight and breathability of a desert boot with support for both flat and mountainous terrain. Well designed and built, with attention to detail inside as well as out. I'm very impressed." - Military Morons.com Footwear Review

One of the best boots I've owned. true fit with a wide toebox. Stiff for trecking up big mountians with heavy ruck, but not uncomfortable. Tougher than anything an infantry deployment in Afganistan could do to it. Would be five stars with better laces (had to go with 550 cord)and if it came with a gore-tex liner. Standing in a sh^t ditch without gore-tex sucks. Make a goretex version and I will never wear another boot for anything. However the boots do dry quick. Taking them to Army Mountian Warfare School this summer, they should be fine.

I wanted a hot weather boot that would not fall apart with every day use and this is it.Made much better then the lighter (Tennis shoe)boots which don't last, this is a boot you should try.

These are great boots. I wear a 13 in the Zephyr/Z6 but I take a 12 in these (company I work for was good enough to buy me a pair in 12 and 13 for comparison). They take a decent amount of breaking in- you will have to flex them a lot before they become really comfortable but don't give up!
Impeccable performance in all temperatures, and all types of terrain. Different lug patterns are specially designed for each outdoor activity - from day hikes and backpacking, to vertical rock and ice.
